Coverage Map
AA OnlyA world map showing the timezone distribution of your faction members.
Overview
Each circle on the map represents a timezone region with at least one faction member. Circle size is proportional to member count. Hovering a circle shows the list of members in that region and their current local time.
The Coverage Map is most useful for war planning: it reveals at a glance which hours of the day your faction has active coverage and where the gaps are. A faction spread across multiple timezones has better 24-hour online coverage than one concentrated in a single region.
How Timezones Are Determined
- Browser detection — on login, FactionOps reads the member's timezone via the browser's
IntlAPI - Cloudflare header fallback — if the browser API is unavailable, Cloudflare's
cf.timezoneheader is used - Manual override — members can set and confirm their timezone from the Account page
A green indicator in the Member Table marks confirmed timezones; yellow marks auto-detected ones.
